An expert in political issues stated that unquestioning support for Israel has provided the basis for the decline of the American political system.

Hawzah News Agency- In an interview with Hawzah news correspondent, Mohammad Sadegh Khorsand, referred to the recent statement by Joseph Borrell, the head of the European Union's foreign policy, who stated that The US has lost its hegemonic position and the world is experiencing a new world order. The undeniable fact is that the Western and American thinkers themselves admit to the decline of the United States in the current era, and the world realities also confirm this issue.

This political expert further stated that what is happening in The US right now is not just a decline, but signs of collapse, and said,” According to the direct and indirect warnings of American experts, there are numerous social problems in the US, but the fact is that Atlantic Council of United States has recently announced that The US is at its lowest level in terms of social issues.

He added,” Student protests and a significant part of professors in American universities also showed that the elite society is also dissatisfied and complaining about its leaders, and especially about the unquestioning support of Israel in the Gaza genocide.”

Mr. Khorsand also stated that in the current situation, the international system does not have a specific leadership, but has different powers, and noted,” the international system have gone through different propositions so far, and what is remarkable is that different powers and civilizations have gradually deteriorated in recent history.”

Following the first and second world wars, we witnessed the emergence of the Soviet Union and the United States, and in fact, two blocs, the West and the East, were formed from this historical moment. After the Cold War and Dissolution of the Soviet Union, world entered a new era called the unipolar system. After this period of transition, we have modern world where the international system has undergone visible changes.

The analyst of political issues also pointed to the beginning of the decline of the world's unipolar power, i.e. the United States of America, and stated that there are components based on which we can claim present global system is no longer unipolar, and in this regard, economic, cultural, political aspects must be analyzed.
